Standard Terms & Conditions
To maintain the validity of your Chimneyz warranty, please note the following industry-standard guidelines:
- Regular Maintenance: Your building envelope requires routine upkeep. The warranty remains valid provided the home receives standard maintenance and professional inspections as recommended.
- Acts of God & Nature: Damage caused by extraordinary weather events (e.g., severe storms, hurricanes, earthquakes), fallen trees, or wildlife is not covered under the workmanship warranty (these are typically covered by your homeowner’s insurance).
- Third-Party Alterations: Any structural modifications, additions, or repairs performed on our completed work by another contractor or third party will void the Chimneyz warranty.
- Pre-Existing Conditions: Structural settling of the home, foundational shifts, or failures caused by pre-existing hidden defects inside the property that were not part of our contract scope are excluded from coverage.
